The included 20x zoom lens features an ENG form factor, but is designed for cameras with a 1.3" imager. With a zoom range of 4.7 to 94mm, the lens is versatile and suitable for a wide variety of shoot situations. The lens features manual focus control, with servo zoom, and the Quick Zoom feature zooms the lens from one end of the zoom range to the other in 0.7 seconds. This is an extremely useful feature when you want to zoom in to check focus, and then "pop" back to a wide shot for shooting.
The JVC GY-HM890 ProHD Compact Shoulder Mount Camera is a 1/3" video camera with an interchangeable lens system. This is only the camera body and does not include the lens. This versatile camera uses three 1/3" CMOS sensors with 12-bit processing to deliver Full HD 1920x1080 video at up to 60p. The GY-HM890 offers a full complement of broadcast features, including HD-SDI input with 4:2:2 sampling, a 3G-SDI output, HDMI output, timecode, genlock, and variable frame rates.
The camera provides dual SDHC/SDXC memory card slots which allow for a wide range of recording options. In addition to recording high-quality footage, you can also simultaneously record in two different formats, for lower resolution proxy or web-ready files, or use the two media card slots for relay recording. With built-in network protocols, all you need to do is attach available USB network adapters to begin streaming live from your shooting location, while simultaneously recording to SDHC/SDXC memory cards. Optional studio components add another layer of professional functionality, making the GY-HM890 suitable for both field and studio work. A compact shotgun microphone comes included.
The Fujinon XT20SX4.7BRM HDTV Zoom Lens offers 20x zoom and has a focal length ranging from 4.7-94mm. It has a relative aperture ranging from 1:1.4 between 4.7mm and 87.7 to 1:1.5 at 94mm. Equipped with Inner Focus technology, accurate zoom, and focus, it provides high-quality images with 1/3" image format cameras.

When used in combination with a multi-core equipped GY-HM790 or GY-HD250 camera the RM-HP790DU allows users to build an economical fully digital HD studio system. Both HD or SD components and SDI video are supported, giving users the flexibility to use either a component switcher or an SDI switcher. Lossless SDI output from the camera can be delivered to the switcher when a multicore/BNC hybrid camera cable is utilized.
